Critical Review of a Business Growth Plan Custom Essay

Using a Business Growth Plan from alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Programme in the Midlands, students will undertake a critical assessment of the goals, vision and anticipated impact of the growth ambitions of SMEs. Guide length: 2,000 words. Students will be assessed individually.

Students will be expected to provide a critique of the opportunity provided with some original checking research included.

Examples of this research could include, for example:

? evaluation of ?SMART? objectives in the plan;
? a review of growth plans, compared with regional competitor analysis;
? examination of the internal management of growth within the business, for example the impact of growth across the functions of the business and whether the impact of growth has been addressed within the plans.

Students may use a range of analytical tools as a part of this critique. The use of these tools for analysis (for example SWOT, PESTLE, SMART objective setting) will be explained within the lectures. The correct application of such tools within this assignment will illustrate a higher level grade.
