How well did the novel, To Live, portray the Chinese Civil War and Cultural Revolution?

The To Live book essay must be 250 words in length to be a completed assignment and receive a grade.  Any assignment not meeting the minimum word count will be returned one time for revision.  However, if the revision does not meet grading parameters, the assignment will zero points in the grade book.  Words are calculated on MS-Word program, which every student has access.
